Getting ready for Easter! We dyed a dozen eggs in preparation for the Easter bunny to hide. I don't know what sort of dye I used, just the kit kind from Macey's Grocery, but I have never had eggs turn out so bright. Dyed eggs are also a new thing for Nathan, while candy filled eggs are new for me. I like how we are mixing the "traditions of our fathers" for different holidays.
James and Daddy first dyed an egg....and then tried it to make sure it tasted good!

We also are learning to mesh our traditions. According to Joey, you have to have ham for Easter dinner. I did not know this until the year I made lasagne and he thought it was weird. So now, we have ham for Easter dinner :).
