Sunday we took a great walk up at Snowbasin to go see the beaver pond. It was beautiful, not too cold yet either. While up there we found the beaver's workshop area.
This was just one example of the beaver's work!
There was a trail that it was obviously where the beaver would drag his logs down to the pond.
The boys wanted to help the beaver, so helped by carrying the log down by the pond, but not all the way in so the beaver could place it where he needed it. They called themselves the "Wild Kratts kids". I love my nature loving boys.
Then we kept exploring, and found an area with wild mint. It smelled so good!
James also fell a little, but was really brave and was okay.
Jonathan was in the backpack and has wanted to be in his
superman costume for a few days running now.
Got this shot our first try!
Back down the trail...until another day.
